Im getting addicted to this blogging stuff!!  Kinda fun once you get the hang of it!!

A Night of Popcorn and Toy Story 3 with Daddy

As I am sitting here typing, the kids have had their baths and supper and are now cuddled on the couch with their daddy eating popcorn and watching Toy Story 3.  Lots of fun for a Saturday night for us!!  :)

Earlier, I took the kids to the fitness center to swim in their pool since ours is out of commission for a while until our salt water system gets replaced!!  I tell you one thing, this girl is so lucky to have a pool of her own and am so GRATEFUL it!!  UGH...Anyway, here is a snapshot I couldn't resist to upload of my sweet Lilly watching T play racquetball...

It has been a nice Saturday for us...Hope it has been well for you all!!  Now on to watching Toy Story 3 and putting the kiddies in the bed...NIGHT NIGHT!!

If we have heard this quote 1 time, we have heard it 50 and I love hearing it everytime she says it!!  She of course changes the name of whom she wants to show her skills to.  So it could be mama, daddy, Thomas, etc...Whoever will take the time to watch what she has to show you!!  Here is a video clip of Miss Priss showing off her princess skills to her papa this morning at the house...Enjoy and Happy Saturday!!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes-Which one should I choose for walking/running?

The past month and a half, I have been working out consistently.  I am now walking about 3 miles with a little bit of runing in there.  I am doing the eliptical machine also, which is kicking my booty!!  I am looking for a good pair of walking/running shoes.  Here is what I have found so far...

As I am writing this I am so wishing we were still at the beach!!  Oh how I miss it so much.  I could live the salt water life, I do believe!!  We had a fantastic time with my brother, Jason from NC and my parents.  Matty was not able to come due to the hospital life!!  He had to work and stay busy here in Selma.  We went down Monday of last week and were able to stay until Sunday.  We are very blessed, I might add!!  We stayed at Cotton Bayou where we used to stay a long time ago, so that brought back many memories!!  The kids got to enjoy a breakfast at the Hangout with 2 of the funniest pirates I have ever met and some beautiful princesses.  We also enjoyed a full day Friday of nothing but Waterville Water Park.  Thomas did pretty much all of the slides and Lilly enjoyed the wave pool and kiddie area.  Oh, and Thomas rode his first ever roller coaster ride.  We are planning a trip to Six Flags soon!!  We did a lot of shopping at the outlets and around Orange Beach and enjoyed every night eating out.  One of our favorite places to eat, the Hangout, was a blast as the kids enjoyed the bubble machine and running and up and down the tall sand hill.  Its also great, because the kids can go and enjoy, while the adults sit and can enjoy ourselves for a few. 
As we continue to get back to normal life, we will never forget all the special memories we have of our family vacations down south!!  Lots of great memories are made at OBA!!!  May the "real life" continue...

The MEAN MEAN VACCUM MACHINE

Ever since Lilly has been little, she has been scared of the vaccum cleaner.  Well this week is not our "housekeeper" week, so my little self had to bring the vaccum out to clean the carpet.  Where do I look up and find this little girl....yelling.....

We had a great fourth of July holiday.  We had both families over to our home to cookout and swim.  We had wonderful types of meat, salads and great cupcakes and homemade ice cream!!  We were so full by the end of lunch and ready for some naps!!  :)  A great time was had by all...

What have I gotton myself into...

Well, I have finally done it!!  With all of my friends "doing" it, I couldn't resist.  Plus it gives my kids something when they get older to look back at!!  (If I can keep up with it)  I will have to have my camera with me at all times to catch our crazy and funny moments with our family of 4.  Hope you enjoy the posts!!
